Classes in your home

“As the winning bidders of the Sip & Paint Party that she had generously donated to the Montshire Auction, Amy arrived at our home one summer Sunday afternoon laden down with canvases, paints and examples of her own Mandalas.  Shortly afterwards our 10 guests arrived.

Following an introduction of fool-proof instructions to get us going, we were quickly absorbed in creating unique masterpieces!  It was surprising how very different each painting turned out, considering we all started in exactly the same way. All the paintings were beautiful, regardless of the talent or ability of the creator.  It was a fun, relaxed way to spend an afternoon and everyone had a great time as well as their own Mandala painting to take home.” – Fiona Heaney

Mandala drawing workshop at St. Thomas Church, Hanover, NH

“I hired Amy for a Paint Your Own Mandala workshop and it was a great success. We ended up booking 3 workshops with Amy at different times throughout the year and always heard positive feedback from participants. Most people said they were surprised how easy it was to follow along and create a piece of art that they loved! I have also participated in the workshop and found the steps very easy to follow along without being overwhelming. I still have my mandala hanging on my wall at home!” – Erin McCabe

Making Mandalas – A Journey of Discovery Workshop, St. Thomas Church, Hanover, NH

“Amy’s workshop on Mandalas was a perfect vehicle to offer my parishioners at St Thomas to assist them with their spiritual journeys. Amy nimbly adapted her art class towards making mandalas as a meditative methodology. Some comments from the participants were: “It’s OK to make mistakes”, “Be open to what comes next”, and “It takes time to see the vision of where you are”. Were we discussing the making mandalas or our spiritual journeys? We all agreed that we had a great time discovering our paths with the mandalas we created. Amy guided us with great finesse and perceptiveness. We are very grateful for her gifts and time.” – The Rev. Jane Milliken Hague
